Prayers for First Responders
Continue to give thanks to God for those who often put their lives on the line for others
Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged; for the Lord your God will be with you, wherever you go.”
Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Isaiah 41:10 “So, do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.”
God, please keep our first responders emotionally strong when confronted by evil, brokenness, or hurt. Give them your peace, as they deal with the pain, suffering, and needs of others. For those who find themselves confronted by hatred or anger from others, may they find their security in you.
